Purchase Options & Cancellation Policy
This policy applies to recurring purchases, including PM Rewards memberships and any other subscription or auto-renewing purchase option offered by Professor Monstera.
Billing & renewal
Memberships are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly) using your saved payment method. Your membership renews automatically each billing cycle at the rate shown at sign-up, until you cancel. Founding-member pricing is locked for the life of your membership and won't increase while it stays active and uninterrupted.
Cancel anytime
There's no lock-in contract — you can cancel at any time. To cancel:
- Log in to your account and manage your membership under Manage Subscriptions, or
- Email us at hello@professormonstera.com.au from your account email and we'll cancel it for you.
When cancellation takes effect
When you cancel, your membership stays active until the end of your current paid billing period — so you keep your member discount and benefits until then. You won't be billed again after that. Payments already made for the current period aren't refunded, as you've had access to your membership benefits during that time.
Failed or declined payments
If a renewal payment fails, we may retry it over a few days. If it can't be collected, your membership benefits (including member pricing) may be paused or cancelled until your payment details are updated.
Changes to a plan
If we change membership pricing or benefits for new members, your locked founding rate is unaffected. We'll give reasonable notice of any change that would affect your existing membership.
Your consumer rights
Nothing in this policy limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
