Alocasia Reginula 'Black Velvet'

Alocasia reginula 'Black Velvet' — deeply saturated, velvety dark leaves with striking pale veins.

A step up in drama from the usual "everyday" plant without stepping up in difficulty much — keep it warm, humid-ish, and out of direct sun and it holds its striking colour well.

• Bright indirect light, avoid direct sun
• Keep soil lightly moist, don't let it dry out completely
• Appreciates humidity — a bathroom or kitchen can work well

Large — 200mm pot.

Comes as an established plant in its nursery pot, ready to repot into whatever takes your fancy.
